I've written several book chapters for collections of essays: 

The Sower and the Seer: Perspectives on the Intellectual History of the American Midwest. February 2021. Wisconsin Historical Press. My chapter is about the city of Cedar Falls and its literary heritage. "Mind and Soil: an Iowa Town that Grows Writers.

My chapter, “The Realistic Regionalism of Iowa’s Ruth Suckow,” is included in The Midwestern Moment, a collection of essays about Midwestern authors in the 1900’s, published by Hastings College Press June 1st, 2017. 

Most recently, my short story, "The Scars you See," was included in the Writers of the Cedar Valley Anthology 2021.
